Andrea Montagna is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bonduelle Fresh Americas, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bonduelle and home of the Ready Pac Foods brands. The business unit focuses on fresh vegetables, salads and fresh meal solutions for the Americas.Andrea joined Bonduelle Fresh Americas in August 2021 and leads the day-to-day management and strategic vision of the newest of the five Bonduelle Group business units. He brings more than 20 years of experience at both the strategic and operational levels, delivering top-tier performance in growth-focused businesses. Most recently, he served as CEO of Bonduelle Italy, where he successfully built on the company’s well-known brand and purpose-driven culture, increasing profits in his two years at the helm.
Prior to joining Bonduelle Fresh Italy as a Commercial Director in January 2017, Montagna was General Manager for Bolton Group in Milan, Italy, and before worked in roles of increasing responsibility for 11 years with Henkel, based in Italy, Germany and the U.S. Andrea is a brand builder with an entrepreneurial spirit, engaging and energizing his teams around a bold vision and a shared purpose.
Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi and a master’s degree in international business from the University of Cologne. A theater and movie buff and fluent in Italian, English and German, Andrea is happily married with two children, and enjoys motorcycling, running, scuba diving, skiing and soccer.
Since joining Bonduelle Fresh Americas (then Ready Pac Foods) as Director of Human Resources in 2014, Katie has achieved business results focused on building capabilities and culture through recruiting, retaining and rewarding top talent. Following the purchase by Bonduelle in 2017, she has led integration efforts to bring the Bonduelle company culture of people and planet focus to Bonduelle Fresh Americas.
With more than 10 years of experience in leadership roles, Katie has a proven track record of HR expertise and results in driving change and improving company performance. Prior to joining the company, Katie worked for Nestle USA in a variety of roles, where she built new organizations to deliver on transformational go-to-market product strategies, supported the integration of Kraft Pizza post-acquisition and led people analytics. Prior to Nestle, she was the Corporate Talent Management manager for Northrop Grumman Corporation leading executive leadership succession and talent planning.
Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Occidental College as well as an MBA and master’s in human resource design from Claremont Graduate University. She is married with two children and enjoys exercising, cooking and karaoke together as a family.
Mike joined Bonduelle Fresh Americas in 2020 as Chief Marketing Officer responsible for leading Marketing, R&D and Consumer Insights. He brings more than 30 years of unique experience to this role, including founding two successful start-up two companies and experience at mid-tier and Fortune 50 consumer packaged goods companies in the US and Globally. Mike is a passionate brand steward, who maximizes business results by combining deep consumer, marketplace and cross-functional understanding with strong strategic focus.
Before joining Bonduelle Fresh Americas, Mike served as head of Marketing and Innovation for Ruiz Foods, home of El Monerey and Tornados frozen Mexican brands. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at General Mills, developing growth strategies and innovation for iconic brands such as Yoplait, Fiber One, Total Cereal and Nature Valley.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and government from St. Lawrence University and an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and e-commerce from Vanderbilt University. He and his wife have two children, two dogs, and enjoy spending time outdoors, playing tennis and golf, hiking and traveling.
Andrea joined Bonduelle Fresh Americas in November 2019 and leads the organization’s legal function. She advises the company on a wide range of legal, risk management and compliance matters, and is responsible for corporate governance. She brings more than a decade of experience representing companies in the food and beverage industry, including in matters relating to regulatory compliance, contracts, employment practices, product development, sales, internal policies and procedures, data privacy and security, corporate governance, intellectual property, and risk management.
Previously, Andrea worked as an associate for the global law firms of Howrey LLP and Mayer Brown LLP, where she focused on commercial litigation, consumer class-action defense, and advising clients in the food and beverage industry regarding a wide range of matters. She then moved to NationBuilder and served as senior counsel and interim chief compliance officer and data protection officer. In these roles, Andrea developed expertise in data protection and security, website content and terms, and other aspects of the legal function.
Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. Fluent in Spanish, Andrea is married with two kids and enjoys spending time at the beach, at the gym, and listening to music from her native Colombia.
